After phaser still same problem

Hi this is my first post in this site Ill aprecciatte all your help you can give me.

I bought a 2008 F250 5.4L 3v engine The engine has 91,000 miles on it. I have read several post on here about the cam phasers which I believe that I may have some issues with. The engine will run good when cold, after warm start the problems now I Have p0022, p0012, p0340 and p0345 and also NO Transmission Temp (don´t know if this has to do with anything or just another bad sensor unit) and cilinder 8 intermitent.
I have replaced everything new (cam sensor, spark plugs, coils, vtc solenoid, new ECM) and the last work i made was the cam phasers but had the same issue. At the end went and perform an engine overhaul. In cold starts, engine runs normal…. After a while once it starts getting warm again it start running rough and even stalling. >>
>>
I’m out of options; waste lots of money (thought that the overhaul will be my solution) ; my mechanic is going nowhere now.

Well, last week we was verifying everything in the car, we solve the intermitent cilinder issue. One plug was bad. After that we verify the other codes again, dame p0022. P0012 p0340; the mechanic disconect the vct conector and the cars runs good just for moments, codes again truco just sent p0020 and runs roough but though that better than other times. Help!!!!

I have had this problem for some time, it seems I can not figure it out and no one on here knows it either, it seems like a impossible thing to figure out from all the answers I have gotton, and I have asked three seperate times, regardless with the few answers I got nothing helped, all I have done now is unplugged my cam position sensors on both sides and not get on my truck and it runs "alright" but no stall or etc please if you figure it out with you email me at ryanreasons@hotmail.com or message me here, or message me on my phone or something, I would be more than happy to try and help you as well but no luck this way as of right now,

Also the true code that is causing you this problem is the P0340, that is the exact code I have on mine, none of the others, and from other people I know with this exact problem all have that code

I have this same issue. my mechanic has changed cam phasers, spark plugs, coil packs---now on to the timing chain tensioner. Truck is fine starting up, but after about 20 minutes of driving, if I get stuck at traffic lights I start having problems. Hasn't stalled yet, but it vibrates really bad until I get it some gas.

Please post if you figure this problem out.

What year, what engine? Have the injectors been checked?

It's a 2006 F150 Harley Davidson V8 with 90,000 miles. I'm not sure about the injectors. I took it to Ford and they said it was the cam phasers---it wasn't. Would've wasted a lot of money had I let Ford 'fix' it.

Yesterday a mechanic came to my house to check the truck.. he ask me if I change the fuel pump. My answer was no. He said that he is almost dure that the fuel pump is the problem. Do i believe this? He said someyhink that maybe the pressuer is not getting to the truck good .

I'd replace the FPDM before I'd replace the fuel pump.

Do you think this will create the p0340 in the car? The mechanic told me something about the fuel pump maybe Is not working Well the Fuel pump is cheating the engine. Could be? Because is not sending good pressure and this could create the codes? Mame dense?

I don't see how a fuel pump can cause a P0340.

The FPDM regulates the fuel pressure.
