Hipo 5.4

Has anybody installed one of these motors from Sean Hyland Motorsport. If so what was the result? I am considering swapping out my 5.4 for one of these modified motors.

5.4 ENGINES

In 1997 SHM pioneered the 5.4.4 valve conversion. Today we offer shortblocks and longblocks which can be used both in Mustang and Truck applications.

83000 5.4 SHORTBLOCK 700 HP / 7000 RPM

A new 5.4 block is deburred, line honed, decked and honed oversized with deck plates. A forged crank, billet rods and forged pistons are fitted with trimetal bearings, main and head studs. High strength rings and an oil pump, pickup tube, windage tray and pan complete the assembly.

84000 5.4 4 VALVE LONGBLOCK

The 5.4 shortblock is completed with Cobra heads, special cams, and the front timing assembly. Sold complete with timing cover, valve covers.

85000 5.4 2 VALVE LONGBLOCK
The 5.4 shortblock with ported PI heads installed, choice of stock or SHM billet cams. Suitable for N/A applications to 500 HP, super charged or Nitrous to 650 HP

5.4 LONGBLOCK ASSEMBLY
The longblock features forged pistons, billet rods, HI volume oil pump, ported 1999 PI heads, 3 angle valve job, precision machining and assemble. This engine can easily be raised to more that 450 HP with the addition of a supercharger kit.
82000 5.4 Longblock Assembly - $7800 Outright !
