5.8 EFI Question

Hi All I am contemplating a 5.8 swap into my '93 5.0 Mustang.
Can anyone out there advise me on what vehicles came with the 5.8 EFI engines with a hydraulic roller camshaft. What vintage, model, truck,or car had the EFI and roller cam block? Look when hunting for an engine?
Also if by any chance you have experience with such a swap, how did it go? Any tips, tricks? Was the wiring harness campatible, distributor, injectors???
Response from members with experienece on the matter would be most appreciated.
Cheers,
Jerry

Not really sure but I'm thinking the older say 88-91 cop cars had em. How about a truck engine with a different intake? They were in later trucks alot more than cars within the last 20 years, but check LTD's and marquis in the 80's, especially station wagons.

i too am doing that swap soon. i think the 5.8 roller block was in 93-95 f150's.

i am going the route of using a DSS pro bullet short block 408.

For more info on these common swaps check out the mustang forums.
