Random shutoff

Hi everyone, so i am currently deployed and my wife is driving my 2010 4.6 3v Supercrew around town to go to work and just to keep the engine running. Well one day she was heading to work and she was in a left turning lane. She told me she came to a stop, got the green arrow and about halfway through the turn, the engine stalled on her. so she had to coast to the side of the road with no power steering (poor girl lol) and once she got over, put it back in park and tried to restart the engine and started without a hitch. this happened about three months ago and hasnt happened again. Im curiouys, what could have caused this? I really dont want this to happen to her again, especially if she is on an interstate. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Hard to say as its only happened that one time. I world suspedt it may have been a glitch in the drive by wire software. Probably nothing to worry about. How many miles are on it. If its still covered take it in.

Not sure about the ECM, i can check that when i get back. And the wife had filled it upp the day before, so fuel wasnt an issue. The warranty just ran out three months ago and it has almost 70k on it now. I just hope it doesnt do it again.
