Decided to do this myself, got the plugs, PB blaster, Techron, and will order the Lisle tool off of Amazon tomorrow. I'm not against someone making money, but flat out rape is another thing.
So I'm collecting all the needed ingredients, and will tackle this job when the temps around here get below triple digits, about another month. I will let you all know how it turns out.

You can start putting Techron in the gas now. You also need some high temperature nickel antiseize.

Yep got the anti-seize, still have to order the Lisle tool.

Question, should I run several tanks with a bottle of Techron in each fill up over a 30 day period, or should I wait until a week out from doing the plugs then add a couple of bottles of Techron to the tank?

Several tanks over a 30 day period would be more effective. Another option would be to get a BG or Motorvac job done, but that costs money.

Got the Lisle tool the other day, don't know whether to be happy or bummed...lol. running my 2nd tank of gas with Techron, plan to wait until temps around here are a lot more mild before I start, probably a couple of weeks out still. Will let you all know what my success rate is...
