'05 F150 hesitation while cruising arounf 45mph

I have read other threads on this and I'm hoping to find an answer. I have a '05 f150 5.4 with 86k. I had the plugs replaced before this had started. After maybe 8 months the hesitation started and I replaced all the ignition coils just a week or so ago. The hesitation isn't as bad as before the coil replacements but it is there and driving me crazy.

What brand coils did you use, and did you use dielectric grease? What brand plugs are in there?

I assume since you said it was at cruising at 45mph then you are not accelerating when this happens. I would put money on it being the cam position sensors. They are cheap, like $5 each and very easy to change they are on the very front of your cylinder heads with one bolt holding them in and one electrical connector.

The plugs were from motorcraft and I did use the grease with the ignition coils, I will look into the sensors. Thought about the filter and will probably replace the filter, but thought that it would bog down during acceleration if it was bad. Thanks for the info guys!
