Need Help Oil leak!

Hey guys I have a 2006 F150 4x4 with the 5.4L 115000 mile on it. I have a small oil leak what appears to be coming from behind the power steering pump. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? It is for sure oil and not power steering fluid. Also head gasket and valve gaskets look good as well. I noticed there is no gasket between the block and power steering fluid any suggestions on what else it could be? Thanks for all the help

that would be the oil filter adapter leaking.

Is it possible for the oil to leak from the sensor on the adapter? The oil is on that sensor wire but could be from the blow back from wind while driving. The gasket looks to clean to be cause of leak.

Sometimes (rarely) when they drill the p/s bolt mounting holes in the block the drill can penetrate into a oil supply passage. I have seen this a few times and it can happen from either a machining issue where the drill depth stop is not set properly, porosity in the cast block and even from core shift in the block casting.
I doubt this is the problem however I mention it in case all other avenues such as bad front cover gasket, oil sender, etc. prove not to be the issue. The fix for a p/s mounting bolt hole leak is a simple repair by applying thread sealer and reinstalling the bolt.
Also check up top at the joint where the cam cover front cover and block merge. A small leak topside can slowly run down and appear at another lower area.
