2009 f150 5.4 o2 sensor
Hey guy's,
I have a 2009 Ford f150 5.4. This past week my check engine light came on and the code was p0130. It seems to be a 02 sensor bank 1, sensor 1. After doing some research, it appears the 02b1s1 is located on the passengers side near the exhaust manifolds, correct? How would I go about changing the o2 sensor?
Now after i unplugged the Check engine light scanner, my check engine light disappeared. From past experiences, the check engine light usually stays on.
Thanks!

Bank 1 is passenger side and sensor 1 is the one closest to the engine.
O2 sensors should be covered under the Federally mandated 8 year/80k mile emissions warranty. Discuss this with your dealer.

Did you read my link thoroughly? Simply changing the sensor may not fix it, you should follow some troubleshooting steps.
Use your scanner and clear the codes, see if they come back. If they don't, it was an anomaly and I wouldn't worry about it.
If you are approaching 100k, you need to change the spark plugs.
