don't even waste your time with the stock cast pistons unless you don't care about the motor and aren't planning on making any power out of it

This set up is going to my work truck, I want to get Manley pistons with the proper cc or I guess what I mean is to have the appropriate compression, lol im dealing with CA smog and I want it to pass smog with out any problems. For the connecting rods im going with Manley H-Beams and ARP 8740 bolts. As for the crank ill be putting in a L crank. This motor will see occasionally see some nitrous. The kit im getting includes the bearings and rings. So that's my plan. Not really worried on making power but im goin to have to rebuilt my 4.6 2v so I just figured id swap a 5.4 and rebuild that.
