How about people with some results on this mod posting them here. Also is there anyone who has purchased a mass air kit and would be willing to sell the stock air meter?

Hey guys

I done my MAF mod about almost 2 months ago or so. And so far no adverse effects, when I first done the mod I really didn't notice to much of a difference. But your not really going to notice 5-10hp in a 4800lbs+ truck anyway. I did however notice a little more power in the top end. If you are going to do it, take your time and be careful. You would hate to buy a new one.

The instructions said to use a dremel tool but i found that i went thru to many bits to grind down the excess. So instead I went to walmart and got a 3 part set of small grinding bits for an electric drill, they cost around $5. The bits came with a course, medium, and fine pads. Hope this helps.
