Doing a tune up

Alright guys i havent been on the site in a while and im not about to search for the answer so i will just ask. i have a 2005 4.6l i want to do a full tune up on it and need to know with this motor do i need to buy coil packs as well as plugs and if so what is the best kind to get and who has the best prices on them. any help is appreciated.

do you have a code for a missfire? if not and your just wanting to tune it up for better fuel mileage i wouldnt worry bout new coil packs.. i'd probably buy 1 new or quality tested used one and keep it in the glove box as an extra though..

and Motorcraft COP's and plugs all the way on the 4.6's and 5.4's in stock form..

Get yourself a set of Motorcraft plugs and change them. If it ever starts to miss, then think about coils (you have COP, not coil packs). The best deal on quality COP's is Visteon DG508's on Ebay. Looks like Alanis got some more in, but there's another vendor undercutting him by $30 a set.

I'm not 100% sure but I'm guessing go with the motorcraft sp515s.

No, those are 5.4 3v plugs. The 4.6 takes SP493's.
