Do you even know me? How do you know what i am or am not? I am not a Ford Master tech but i am mechanic! I do more work on 98-03 F-150s than most! In fact, i have 2 Lightnings at my house right now that are getting mods installed and plugs changes. I have done HUNDREDS of plug changes and NEVER have has a issue and i use Nickle Anti-Sieze on ALL. If what i am doing is so wrong then why havent i ever had a plug blow?

I have detonated a motor so bad the piston melted a hole in its self, plug completely melted and guess what the plug never backed out and it had anti-sieze. And trust me you cant stress a plug anymore than detonation can.

Yall can take it for what its worth, i make my opinions based off of my own doing, not reading a website.

Just take a few mins and Google "Steel Bolt in Aluminum Threads"

Nope! It was just a hunch, going by what posted. Looks like it was good one lol.

Keep doing what you do, - no ones telling you to stop. Just sharing info. There isn't a need to get defensive. -Or is there?

Correct, I was sharing as well. Right, I drew that conclusion from what you shared and, I was correct. Not sure why you have a problem with that. Do you get yelled at a lot on the job or something ? Yeah, puzzling.

That's probably a good idea BTW- your using that "deadhorse" smiley inaccurately. The info I've posted is common knowledge across the boards. It's dictated by spark plug manufacturers and experienced technicians. Not just in one place; abroad. When you read enough of the same thing and when it makes sense, it tends to stick. They call it learning, -which is something you gave up on long ago and take offense at the whole process lol. Iduno... Your right, I do not know you and feel fortunate for that. Everything will be okay. Like I said, keep it up, if it's working for you. You can have that deadhorse, if it gives yuh a tickle..

And so will I. I use it on most. Under certain conditions, you should not, -Period. You want to categorize everything the same here when it's not. That's just narrow minded. No matter how you spin it.

You must not have many friends? Being as you have one disagreement, you feel fortunate not to know someone. Common knowledge across the boards you say huh? Really? I been on boards for over 10yrs and the knowledge is to use it! I learn soemthing new everyday, it seams that your the one that cant learn what putting steel into aluminum does.

Yes, I definitely do. However, the OEM spec MOTORCRAFT plugs have NICKEL PLATED threads. What is the main ingredient in high temperature antiseize? That's right - NICKEL.

I didn't say that - but you seem to have a problem with considering that there may be a better way to do things than what you are used to.

Ever heard of the saying, dont fix nothing that isnt broken? Until somebody can prove to me that it is bad to put a little bit on the threads i will continue to use it and if asked tell people to use it.

And i find it crazy that it is common knowledge acorss the boards but.....http://www.lightningrodder.com/forum...d.php?t=109420
