Please help 1997 expedition 4.6

Please help 1997 expedition 4.6

"How do I change the short tube that comes out of the back of the water pump on a 1997 ford expedition 4.6l do I have to remove the water pump also I know I have to remove the intake I have the intake off already I thought it was intake gaskets but I put it back together and still leaking but I can see a small needle size stream of antifreeze comming from the short 2-3 inch mettle nipple that come out of the back of the water pump I already changed the line that goes to the back of the engine along the vally but need to change that nipple and don't know how or where to get it or actuall name for it any advice or help would be great thank you

I have water pump out also now don't know what way it comes out I tried to tap it out and all I managed to do is break the stupid tube

It is pressed in from the front. When you install the new one apply some Loctite sealer or equivalent on the tube. Tap the old one out from the valley side with a small hammer. Now that its broken use a piece of pipe or a socket that is the same diameter as the hole and place it against the broken end of the tube and tap the socket so it forces the broken piece out the front. Dealer should have a new one.

I tried to tap it out and all I managed to do is break the stupid tube
