Unknown Cable? Anybody knows what this is?

Hi!
2006 Ford STX SuperCab, 4.6 V8...
I'm trying to diagnose some electrical problems, the truck out of nothing shuts down and appears without any electricity. Nothing works, not even the green digital display on the gauge cluster.
After a few minutes of working with the key at the ignition switch and the valet switch on the alarm/anti-theft system (more on that later) it will suddenly have power and it works fine. This has been happening randomly, about four times in the last two weeks. Thing is that while trying to troubleshoot I found this cable taped to the side of that long tube:

The cable comes out from the intake manifold on the rear of the throttle body. The tip of it had been covered in electrical tape, something that was not done by Ford, it was kind of messy... but the cable was not connected to anything, which is strange.

Can any body tell what this cable is and where it goes?

Thanks!

Sorry...I'm not that computer inclined... I don't even have a smart phone. No joke there!

The system is a K-9 Mundial Alarm/Anti-Theft. It had been working OK for the past few months until now. I thought about getting rid of it too, not just on this truck, but years back on several other cars that people in my family own. I have to find a reputable shop though... Any recommendations on a specific product?

About the cable, I have a Ford_Connectors pdf document that I found someplace here in the forums but I cannot seem to find that connector in it.

Thank you for your patience.

Robert

Edit:
The three cables come from the Throttle Body Spacer Vacuum Hose. Two of them go all the way to the other side of the engine into the EGR Valve and they appear fine. The third one is the one that is hanging, and I can't find the connector where it goes into... there are no other cables/connectors around the distance where this cable should go...

Could it be that this cable is used as an accessory option on some other more expensive models with the same engine?
Seems it could also be a throttle body vacuum sensor?

That's not a cable, that is the vacuum line that goes to the 4x4 solenoid. Your truck is obviously a 2wd model.

OK!!!!
I get it. Yes... you can hear the noise at the other end of the throttle body if you blow on it. I have to tape the tip again the way it was, and tie it to where it was.

Thanks man...

don't tape it, get a vacuum cap and do it correctly
