Last thursday i changed the plugs in my truck,
and it wasn't as bad as i though it would be,
but anyway once i was all done i fired her up
and drove home, (changed them at work)
but i got home and the check engine light came
on and i sounded like it was missing so i poped
the hood and found out the plug boot for the #8
cylinder was loose so i pushed it one and it ran great
but the check engine light stayed on and it should
right if the trouble code was not erased, but it shut off
by its self, is this normal?

 

try resetting your computer by unplugging the battery for a little bit and plug it back in. That might do the trick.
