Can anyone tell me whether installing an Indiglo dash kit will or will not void my trucks warranty? Seeing as you have to actually open the gauge cluster to do this install. and does the computer not relieying on the odometer retain the actual miles on the truck so when the tech plugs into the service port it tells him the actual miles?? No I didnt set the miles back but it could be done if the computer didnt tell on you.

 

This is just a guess. If something goes wrong with your instruments and the dealer can prove you did something that caused the problem, you aren't covered. As for the rest of the truck, the warranty would still be in effect.

 

You didnt answer my question about the computer knowing the amount of miles on the truck??? Does it retain this info for the tech?
