I recall seeing somewhere else on the site a comparision between HP and Torque.
Torque is your low rpm power for towing and to get moving and Peak HP is passing power.
This is why the 5.4L has a bigger "kick in the pants than the 4.6L.
The HP is close but there is a big difference in torque.
