Chevy in-line six? Where did you hear that? They keep telling me that Chevy's going to have a Cat Diesel too, Everyone knows that the any Chevy diesel is worthless. Chevy will continue to put worthless diesels in there trucks to! (I assume)!

My son (age 15)and I dream of restoring a
56 ford f100. the 5.0l straight six sounds
like a great engine. A 16 year old would have a hard time breaking it and it would last forever if maintained well. I wonder if this thing would fit and if it would be a practical swap?

I know this is off the subject of f150s but it is an f150 engine.
