Motor mounts question

Motor mounts question

Hey guys im just wondering if a motor mount from a 1997 f150 for the 4.6 would fit/work on my 1989 f150? Have an extra 4.6 laying around and looking to put it in any help is appreciated thanks

I doubt it but nothing a welder,drill press and some 1/4-3/8 plate won't fix. Lay the 97 mounts on the floor next to the 89 mounts and see what changes you have to make.

Alright thanks could you just build your own mounts? I dont know if it would be strong enough

People build mounts all the time. Mostly for custom fabrication. In your case, you would be better to just buy a set for around 60 bucks?
