2010 5.4L v8 Supercrew STALLING.

Heres the whole story. This has happened on 2 previous occasions and stops when I bring it to the dealer and they just give me the truck back. Anyway symptoms include:

Stalling when coming to a stop on occasion. Then runs fine.
Check engine light on
Gas gauge and miles to empty plummet
When I put gas in....a blast of pressure comes out of gas input when I insert pump

Any ideas or experience with this before I take it to dealer and it stops acting up precisely when I bring it in lol

 

Sounds like something could be wrong with the evap or venting system

Have you tried scanning for the obdii dtc error codes?

Exact same thing happened to my work's F550 V10 thingy yesterday.

Lumpy idle. Dies but starts like a champ then dies. Then runs great.

Turned out to be the FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module) People to keen with the steam wand.

Not sure if the 2010 5.4 has this but it threw an Engine light on.
