99 F150 4.6 Ready for rebuild?

I have a 99 F150 with the 4.6 Romeo engine with 160k miles on it. It is leaking oil near the rear main, and you can see a puff of smoke from behind when the tranny shifts.

Looking for ideas, is she worn out and needs rebuilding what would you recommend?

Thanks

Are you sure its not the head gasket? starter covered with oil? that would be an oil leaking head gasket.

I will check, what do you think about the smoke puffing on transmission shift?

Thanks

its typical for a leaky head gasket to drip on the exhaust on the right side.
