Spark plug change
Well everything turned out good runs like a champ! 5 plugs broke and 3 came out whole, the lisle tool is awesome wish i invented that thing.. thanks for all the help and advice, you guys are awesome. feels like somebody took a sledge hammer to my chest for 8hrs. laying on the front of these trucks is brutal, and my hands look like i tried to grab a badger out it's hole. Im trying to upload some pics, but its being fussy with me, dont know why its gotta be so hard to do it. I will keep trying bare with me.

to upload pics use your profile album(s) or use a site like photo bucket or flicker....
Not sure what your point is, but I know perfectly well the difference in an air "rachet" and a regular impact. I have two of each. Well, I will put it this way, we diffrentiate the difference here in the South, just assumed everyone did. I also have a another one that is a "butterfly" impact.
Some of your efforts to point out my mistakes and to prove me wrong on a subject go just a bit overboard and get a bit tiring.

They are handy little rascals. I used mine a lot when I was working on 289s and my 351C.

I have to agree that they are a handy size, haven't used mine in a while (Retired), but used to use it a lot, especially on some body panels and such. Anyway, getting off topic here..thanks for the comeback though.
stupid photo bucket what the hell is going in here! why is this so hard. Am I an idiot, or is this thing for real smart people? (don't answer)! got all my photos in photobucket how do you get the S.O.B's on this page? anyone! direct link, html link. So do you guys have look at them through photo bucket. i dont know i will keep plunking around.. this is harder than the spark plug job!
right click on the pic, then select properties. Copy the entire url. Above the posting box and second from the right click on the icon that looks like yellow mountains. Paste the url in the pop up box and hit ok. The pic should be in the post when you complete the post.

BTW - what oil & filter yall using?

MGD
Well I bought the life time oil when I got the truck, I am pretty sure it's pennsoil 5 20 and I supply a MC oil filter every 3000mi because i have heard the stories. and I run a K and N filter instead of stock one I am thinking seriously about going to a CAI..
Please be careful W.R.T a CAI. An already lean-running '05, a slot-style MAF ( which the CAI will relocate and thus affect the MAF transfer function's accuracy ) all combine into a potentially damaging lean condition.
Either stay stock & apply the Gotts Mod, or you will need to invest in a custom flash programmer to properly and safely correct the TF.
Also CAI's are overrated on a bang/buck basis - the programmer is a much better investment and will result in real gains, unlike a WASHOOBI.
Just fyi ....
thanks thats kinda the reason i have not gotten the CAI yet, cause i was wondering about that. just tired of the truck not really sounding like a truck (so quiet)... i have not done anything to the exhaust. thinking about a bullet
Gotcha, Jake.

I'd stay away from Fartmaster. Silly baffles = a ding in low-end grunt, and IMHO, that Fartmaster tone is played out.
Check out some of the exhaust videos here:

Some fine examples of trucks that sound like trucks there!
Oh, and congrats on a job well done!! My hat's off to you, sir, fer having the gumption to tackle it.
And good call on the Coors Light.
Although, a frosty-cold Yuengling would have been my choice.
