Im trying to upload some pics, but its being fussy with me, dont know why its gotta be so hard to do it. I will keep trying bare with me.
yep and I put myself through that almost every weekend....

to upload pics use your profile album(s) or use a site like photo bucket or flicker....

Some of your efforts to point out my mistakes and to prove me wrong on a subject go just a bit overboard and get a bit tiring.
Jim, have you ever done the plugs with the Butterfly impact. I have one and never thought about using it. The mere size of those makes it seam like a perfect impact for those rear plugs at least.

No, I have not. I agree that they seem ideal size wise. Maybe with 60 to 80 lbs?

They are handy little rascals. I used mine a lot when I was working on 289s and my 351C.

I have to agree that they are a handy size, haven't used mine in a while (Retired), but used to use it a lot, especially on some body panels and such. Anyway, getting off topic here..thanks for the comeback though.

right click on the pic, then select properties. Copy the entire url. Above the posting box and second from the right click on the icon that looks like yellow mountains. Paste the url in the pop up box and hit ok. The pic should be in the post when you complete the post.

Well I bought the life time oil when I got the truck, I am pretty sure it's pennsoil 5 20 and I supply a MC oil filter every 3000mi because i have heard the stories. and I run a K and N filter instead of stock one I am thinking seriously about going to a CAI..

Gotcha, Jake.

Please be careful W.R.T a CAI. An already lean-running '05, a slot-style MAF ( which the CAI will relocate and thus affect the MAF transfer function's accuracy ) all combine into a potentially damaging lean condition.

Either stay stock & apply the Gotts Mod, or you will need to invest in a custom flash programmer to properly and safely correct the TF.

Also CAI's are overrated on a bang/buck basis - the programmer is a much better investment and will result in real gains, unlike a WASHOOBI.

Just fyi ....

Jake, listen to this here feller. There are a few guys around these here parts that really know their stuff with respect to these Ford trucks, and good ol' MGD be one of 'em!

If you're after a nicely toned, aggressive-sounding, louder truck, look into a quality aftermarket exhaust from Borla, Dynomax, or Magnaflow.

I'd stay away from Fartmaster. Silly baffles = a ding in low-end grunt, and IMHO, that Fartmaster tone is played out.

Check out some of the exhaust videos here:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/ex...ear-again.html

Some fine examples of trucks that sound like trucks there!

Oh, and congrats on a job well done!! My hat's off to you, sir, fer having the gumption to tackle it.

And good call on the Coors Light. Although, a frosty-cold Yuengling would have been my choice.
