Will follow up shortly on the cost of DPFE cost. My 99 2WD 4.6 is in the shop right now. Service Engine light was on and off for two weeks. Disconnected Neg terminal, check connection etc. to no avail. Finally, bit the bullet and took her to the dealer. Expect Parts and labor around 200$. Details to follow.....I think I may invest in an code scanner.
