I had done a dual 16" efan conversion in my 01 f150 5.4 and I guess my relay stopped working on me or something, I haven't checked it out yet. I was sitting in line at a drive through and I guess my fans weren't working and I was just sitting there idling. Next thing I know it starts idling a little rough, I look at the temp gauge and its on hot, then I hear coolant leaking. I pull off and park, pop the hood and the coolant is boiling like crazy, theres a little bit of coolant splattered here an there in the engine bay. The amount that leaked was fairly substantial though. I'm guessing a hose popped off or something. Anyone have any idea which one I need to look for? I'm pissed as possible that this happened and will probably just say **** the relay and just put the fans on a dash-mounted switch. Tomorrow morning I will try to find what needs to be replaced as I'm sure something does because the leak had to come from somewhere. Anyone have any ideas at all??
