Amazon lists Visteon 60-1000 as fitting 2005 f150 5.4 (what I bought)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i00_details

It also lists Visteon 60-1005 as not fitting 2005 f150 5.4 (what I should have bought?)

Well, it's Sunday, - maybe you can call first thing in the morning and cancel. IF they have a contact number. Use a search engine to find the contact number if there isn't one for they're Amazon store or whatnot. You can usually dig one up with google or whatever you use.

That's what I've had to do in the past.

Ebay also lists them as being DG508 or DG511 replacements. The 3v 5.4 takes DG511.

The 60-1000 is a DG508, the 60-1005 is a DG511.

I talked with this guy on window switches before. He does limo/taxi fleet parts. Seems like a stand up guy, gave me his cell number if I needed anything more. Anything aftermarket they manufacture it their self.

and if you click on second link, and plug in the info for "does this fit my vehicle" and plug in 2005 f150 5.4 valve... it says it doesn't fit!

When I copy and paste the number, I simply found the eBay. What a web store, I can found everything on that except some.

Yes, The 511's fit EVERY 5.4 3v to present. I don't think they have changed at all AFAIK. I'm positive the 511's fit the 05 3V's.

I believe 514's are for the 4v's.

So it's -

508's = 2v
511's = 3v
514's = 4v

If its dg511 or the visteon 60-1005 that price sounds like its for 4 cops.

You sure you aren't looking at generic DG511's? The Visteons go for 180 bucks for a set of 8.
