Post 5.8 engine - 1994

I am considering buying a 1994 F150 4x4 with the 5.8 engine. It has 83,000 miles.
Is there anything I need to be aware of with the 5.8 engine?

Make sure you have a "credit line" at a good gas station.

PS The 5.8 will run good

The engine? No. Like Chris said- just lots of gas to be bought.

The tranny is what you need to check closely- especially if the truck was used to tow anything. If there is the slightest hesitation or it shifts hard, you may be in for a tranny rebuild.
