the advanced parts store opened a hayes book when i asked about tq specs, while i was buying motorcraft plugs. It stated 86-168 inch pounds. I did not fully trust that broad of a range so I went 160 inch pounds (a lot tighter then what I took out, but definitely not to tight)

28ft/lbs is recommended. Which would be around 336in/lbs. You only have them around 13.3ft/lbs... they will blow out again
