There's still on equestion I'm hoping someone that's done it can answer. Towing? Many people say it's not a good idea with towing. Why is that? My points are 1) freed up power and 2) consistant cooling (steady cfm vs. varied).

I'm in the process of buying a boat and although not a huge amount of weight, what I'm looking at is in the 4000+ lb range.

I really do appreciate all of the feedback from everone on this topic. I think most if not all are vary valid and really do bring up the points that you need to consider when moding these trucks. Everyone has a different use for a truck and it makes you think of all the possibilities. I haven't said it in a while but, this board it great!!! I really wish I could find one even half this informative for boats now! So far the 1-2 I've found are really bad.
