In my case, it could be I'm trying to get to much out of them.
With your relatively extreme mods, I wouldn't be surprised.

I think your on to something. - I have some new ones in the box and in the garage. I haven't had a coil problem in a along time.

Maybe I should change my recommendation to, - purchase a set of Global coils, but what ever you do don't install them.

I ended up getting a motorcraft coil and plug to much off roading I got dirt in my plug lol

Nah, dirt, water or whatnots won't hurt it a bit. IF your greased the coil liberally and correctly. Greasing can be done wrong as well. If you don't grease they won't last that long IMO.

As most of you know...Bought an 8 pack from Global. After they were installed, it's idle was smooth I had more power, but still had vibration at certain RPM's, although not as bad.. Then it started to get worse..Idle went rough..etc..
I'm taking back to garage and have one of my old ones installed. They are going to do a
"Cylinder balance test" ? To find the bad one...
Sound right?
