Post slight hesitation on take off

I'm getting a slight hesitation every time I take off from a stand still. I have a '99 F-150 with 5500 miles on it. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this? I have a Superchip in the truck and didn't know if maybe it needed to be reprogrammed or if it could be bad plugs ect...
Any help would be appreciated.

Thumbs up

I never realized I had the same problem until I put in the K&N air filter and changed the induction tube from stock (2¼") to 3". The increased throttle response made me realize how that same hesitation had been there all along.

I'd recommend starting with the filter element and see how that works for you. Then change the induction tube if you need more! This subject was originally brought up by 'ezonthegas' and his post is under "Other Aftermarket", called "Lower airbox temp = +HP" .

Good luck,

Jim
