2006 engine replacement help.
I need to replace my engine on my 2006 F150 5.4. I was just wondering what years are compatible with the 2006 so I can start looking for a wrecked truck or an engine.

2004-2008
On the 2007-2008.... you're going to have to make sure to use the engine harness off the 2006 and your cooling fan.....2007 they switched to an electric actuated fan clutch......
2009+2010 will work also but will require more swapping of parts.....I'll try to locate that thread for you.....that may happen tomorrow, if I find it .....
Your best bet is going to be a 2008.......revised cylinder heads with the non breaking plugs....
