Trouble Code PO455

Hello, it's license plate time and of course I can't get my check engine light to go off. Had a cylinder four misfire which was fixed by replacing a bad ignition coil. Drove it for a while to let the system run its diagnostics and it never went off. Had the codes read again, it gave me three trouble codes still one being the cylinder four misfire. I disconnected the battery for 30+ minutes. Drove it for four or so days without the check engine light. Then, on Monday the light illuminated on the way to work. Codes read again, it is now just PO455. I have been smelling a gasoline odor when exiting my truck. I replaced the gas cap. Still no luck. It runs great. Is there a seal between the fill-up and the tank? No visible signs of a leak. If there is, could this be where leak could be? Your help is greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, 1998 F150 XLT 4X4 4.6L 6 Model.

Thanks,

Tim

You have a leak somewhere in the evap system that you have to chase down.

Could be the filler neck or the evap canister itself..... Any harder to fill the truck up at the pump?

Thanks! GLC, JBrew, and Sampson01, I really appreciate all the responses. I will try to get a better understanding of all the evap components.
