Changed my Plugs
AS it says, did my plugs yesterday. Took a whopping 2 hours, and that included the amount of time it took to bandage my finger from a sweet knuckle busting moment. Didn't use any carb cleaner or anything, plugs came out well enough on their own. I am pretty sure if no one had told me that there was an issue, i would have never have know.
Give me a bit and I will post pics of the plugs I pulled out.
FYI, truck has just under 44k miles. Always TRY to run Chevron gas, and rode the crap out of this last tank, aka, lots of heavy right foot everywhere.

I think the people who have the most problems breaking them are the ones who have high miles and the older trucks (04 and 05s), which will have more carbon buildup.
Good to know everything went well, as I will be changing mine here within a week or so. Mine has 95k on it, and they are pretty tight in there. I pulled one the other day to see what they look like. I used a little cleaner and went very slow.
Does your truck run any better now?

Nasty. The burn doesn't look that bad, passable.
With the coils you can change just the boots or not, but they at least need to be cleaned and greased. Otherwise, ignition may not run as good as it should be. Specially unprotected and with somewhat broken down boot ends. So a good thorough job would be to maintain coil pulse focused primary/secondary and that's how.

I inspected the boots and cleaned them up. (They had some dry dirt buildup on them). The boot was still full of whatever goop ford put inside of them and it was still a creamy white color. Looked new to be honest minus the dirt on the outside of the boot itself.
