spark plug change

I have a 2004 5.4 w 62000 miles. I am a pretty fair mechanic should I change the plugs myself? If they break at home can I get them out?
PS. Im obviously not an auto mechanic

READ, READ, and read some more within this forum..also do a search on the subject. Armed with the information contained within this forum, you shouldn't have a huge headache with these plugs.
