So, with the 03 S'crew now hitting 300,000KM (synthetic oil is great stuff), I reflect on the positives. Other than a few maintenance issues (brakes, front axles and a head gasket) I have been very impressed with my S'crew. However, I would like to replace the stock 5.4 with something a lil juicier! I do have a spare long block tucked away waiting for a qualified rebuilder to impress me. Has anyone "pumped up" (bored stroked, new heads, cam etc etc) one of these 5.4's? Swapping out the tranny and T'case isnt an issue if need be to go to the HD trans. ANy thoughts, experience? TTFN

 

Best way to make good power with the 5.4 is build it with forged internals, ported heads and a blower cam, twin screw blower and go have some fun.
