Well I have a tricky tech question about my truck. I have a 05 F-150 5.4 and a few weeks ago it started sputtering when given gas such as passing someone. This wasn’t the normal “buck” from a bad coil but a sputter like it wasn’t getting any fuel. I finally got a check engine light and when tested received the code P0191 bad fuel rail sensor. After talking to the dealer he claims this is the first time he has ever had to order this part so I am wondering what else can cause this code. the truck runs fine until you get on the gas to pass someone then it just sputters. When was the fuel filter changed?

 

That was what I first thought it was. Changed it last week.
