99 5.4L spark plug xthreaded

I just bought this truck and I am replacing plugs and c.o.p's. The#2 plug (2nd on pass side) seems to be installed xthreaded and sits at a slight angle. The spark plug socket will not fit over the spark plug to remove it. All other plugs come out fine. Any ideas on how to get it out would be appreciated.
Also planning to use Accel C.O.P's anyone have negative experience with them?

Accel cops are a waste of money. Buy a whole set of generics for 80 bucks on Ebay from Global Automotive.

You are probably going to have to break the plug to get it out, then ream the hole and use a Timesert. I'm wondering if someone has already put an insert in and screwed it up.

Yep, Accel COP's are junk. Purchase a V10 package of GAMMA's (dg508's) from here instead -

Huh, Global doesn't have them listed. (?).. - Uneek does -

Trying the Uneek C.O.P's

Still working on getting the plug out. It seems to ignite ok, doesn't show a P0502 code. Friend suggested a 12 point socket, it'll have a thinner wall. I ordered a 10 pack of the Uneek C.O.P's even though I have a V8, two spares in case and the price was good. Who makes these C.O.P's?

Like GLC said you may have to break the plug meaning snap the ceramic portion off using a large screwdriver. That will cut the long angle down and allow you to get even a short 6 point socket over the reminder of the plug and turn it out. I'm not a fan of 12 point unless you are dealing with low torque if you round the plug off you are really screwed. Good luck.
