Angry 5.4 sputtering

I must admit I made a stupid mistake.... I had mud caked everywhere under my hood so I used engine degreaser and power washed my motor... I know I probably shouldn't have did that but I did. I noticed right after I did it my truck started sputtering and spitting I drove home 2 miles from the car wash parked it for 3 days then yesterday drove it with a trailer and noticed when I tried to get up to high way speeds it had a shimmy when I hit the gas to get up to speed. It got up to speed and drove fine till I started hitting the gas. Is it possible I have messed up a coil pack or a few by doing the power washing? I will get it tested today. Let me know what you all think. Be gentle

You need to remove every cop and with an air compressor blow each plug cylinder out. Then dry and clean each cop. You will more than likely need a few new ones, but which ones will be hard to tell unless you can get a dtc to show up for a misfire. Otherwise, buy a whole set if you don't want to wait around and chase misfires for the next 2 months.

If you had taken the cops off and blown the wells and cops dry and reinstalled them with dielectric grease BEFORE starting the engine, you would probably have been OK.
