high idle
Rick, I've moved this to V8 engines, because it doesn't seem to really fit in the "Chips, Tuners" section. Since you live in Florida, I can't believe it's particularly cold and I agree, the cold idle speed seems high. Have you asked a service adviser at your dealership about this? Possibly, it's something that could be taken care of with a flash to the PCM.

1900 rpm
1900 is too high for a cold start. Try a "reset" by disconnecting the battery and a MAF cleaning might be in order. It also might be a vac leak in the emissions side. Does it also happen if the engine is slightly warm?
I meant cold as in overnite, however it does get cold here, low teens this past winter.I asked at local Ford dealer, he says they have to keep it over nite to duplicate problem. I thought it could be programmed at any time to change idle.
