98 Mountaineer to 92 F150 engine swap

any suggestions or advice on the difficulty and what will all be entailed in swapping motors with a 98 Moutaineer (302 5.0 V8) to a 92 F150 (302 5.0 Automatic)? My F150 I have to replace a header on it and a few other things... it's spraying coolant and oil all over under the hood and onto my fender. So is worth the swap or just to rebuild my original motor in my F150??

depends on the condition of the donor engine. If its got 500k miles on it probably better off rebuilding the original. If its got 50k miles on it then yeah its worth swapping..

the engines got 145xxx on it. so is it easy enough to just swap or will i need to take other parts from the donor as well?

I don't know the exact answer, but considering your truck is EEC with speed density and the 98 is OBD2 with MAF, I don't think it's a simple bolt-in.
