2005 5.4l 3V...plugs fouled at 30k?

I've been having problems for a day or two with my truck starting..
It cranks but would not fire like normal, so I took it to the dealership to see what was wrong. They say the spark plugs are fouled? Truck only has 36,000 miles on it. Also, it was idling very rough and smelled like it was running poorly. What could have caused it?

Thanks,
Will

fuel injectors on that year are prone to fail. Ford has extended the warranty read the sticky at the top of this section..

They had better check the injectors. Sounds as if they are leaking and Ford has an extended warranty letter just for the 2005 injectors as many were defective. It could hydrolock the engine.
