Hypertech Power Programmer III

I have a 97 F150 auto with the 4.6. About a month ago I installed the Hypertech Power Programmer III (re-programmed my prom). The results are good. Normal driving (around town) you don't see much difference. But, when you get your foot into it you can feel the added power. According to Hypertech they say that you get an additional 12 HP and 24 lb/ft torque. I haven't pulled my trailer yet but that will be the real test. Hypertech does recommend that you remove the program before bringing it into a dealer for any service. Installation was very easy and only took 30 minutes, no tools required.

I think that it is money wasted. You can only adjust the octane rating of the gas, the RPM and speed limiter with the unit.

You dont get all the features like tranny adjustments, speedo corrections . You are limited to 3 things.

Not worth it!

-Tranny adjustments
