power steering pump leak

power steering pump leak

pics are of 2003 Screw 4x4 power steering pump, what suggestions if any for fixing this problem? can this line be removed with the pump installed? is there a seal or o ring that can be replaced?

Yes, the line can be removed. I believe there is supposed to be a copper o ring under that tightening nut that seals it if I remember correctly. Be a good time to change the fluid

Yep, that is what I get to do on my '99 F150 when the weather warms up. Already got the hose. Just waiting for the weather to cooperate.

You really have to remove the pulley to get to it and that is a PITA. gotta get the special tool that is not very special its not very fun using it..
