performance 5.4 2v

looking for someone who can point me in the right direction, im looking at a 99 f150 with a 5.4, its got a kenne bell supercharger but believe its a smaller suppercharger they no longer makes, 1.3? i think just kinda looking for some other mods, i was thinking heads, cams, would it be worth it to port the blower and maybe make the bottom end forged? or is it already? not looking to spend 10k but maybe a few to make it a fun truck, suggestions, pointers, anything?

that's exactly what I was referring to, plus a larger throttle body, some port work

better flowing heads, forged pistons and rods, a better torque coventer, trans tune, fuel mods etc...

the poor truck...

lets hope you an save it

#1 - DO NOT USE THE EDGE ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE TRANSMISSION TUNE - any type of spark advance

#2 - you need to run 39# (cobra) or 42# (Lightning/Harley truck) injectors, a 90mm MAF and a good tune

#3 - a shift kit is needed at the very least and be planning on replacing the transmission shortly

can you explain why i should plan on replacing the tranny? i know the trucks been setup like this for awhile, i dont plan on racing it or anything really, maybe an occasional run against a hemi or something, this is really the first mod motored vehicle and supercharged vehicle ive had, this is all kind of worrying me now, i was going to do a few mods and get it tuned at a shop but really dont want to spend several grand all at once

the truck has been making more torque than stock for a while and the stock shifts suck, they are geared towards miss daisy and in turn harm the transmission by allowing it to take so long in between shifts...

2-1 kickdowns, 3-4 WOT upshifts (other than hard on the rods), are very very hard on the transmission as well
