A little help please!!!

I have a 2006 F150 4x4 with the 5.4L with 70000 miles. The last couple of weeks my truck has been acting up. I have noticed that the truck tends to jerk from time to time while accelerating; sometimes the truck will completly shut off. No engine lights or work wrench has come on in the truck until yesterday. I have a cheap scanner that I purchased from autozone and the codes I got were PO2104 and PO2112. I researched these codes and have found that I must replace the throttle body. (Expensive) I have come to a conclusion that I first must try and clean my Throttle Body........ Is this the right approach??? I am by far no mechanic but I am no dummy either. I have a Haynes Repair Manual and the removal of the throttle body seems pretty easy. Is there any DOES OR DONT'S that I should approach so I dont cause anything else to break or malfunction?????? I did read that I must replace the o-ring under the throttle body before reinstalling and I do know I have to use a throttle body cleaner. Not to mention that I am going to replace my fuel filter it has been over 30000 miles since my last change. One more question I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this same problem and what they did to resolve it.

Buy a few cans of cleaner and get to work. Clean the MAF to but use MAF cleaner. Change the fuel filter also.
