1997 F150 V8 with 200,000plus miles, was running ok just stalled.
starter checked at advanced auto parts, works, battery good, flywheel will not move manually. all lights radio meters work.
I think the engine froze

Remove the spark plugs. If it then turns over, it's hydrolocked. If not, the engine is frozen.

Will it turn over? If not, can you turn the flywheel or crank pulley by hand (or wrench) with the plugs out?

Hydrolock is when you get coolant or a ton of raw gas into the cylinders. It doesn't compress like air. A hydrolocked engine should turn over with the plugs out unless it did something bad like bend or break a rod.

A lot more than a good used engine from a junkyard.

 

Find someone who will install a good used engine for you. That's probably your only option. Your cheapest one anyway...

 

BTW- You pull the plugs and turn the crank. Pull the serp belt and get on the damper pulley on the engine, across from the lower part of the radiator. If you can't turn it w/breaker bar, - she's spent.
