Ok so here's my situation. A few days ago i checked my oil and saw i needed to put some in, wasn't suprised since i hadn't checked it in a while, so i put a quart in. About 15 minutes later i checked the level again and saw it was still low and put another quart in, and didn't check it before i drove to work, oops i know. It drove to work fine with no problems but when i got out and got home, i put it in park and shut it off and white smoke starts coming out from under the hood. I open the hood and see that there is oil splatter on the left side of the engine and also some on the other side along with the smoke. I check the oil level level and see that it's high so i let some oil out later and took it for a drive down the road and got back and it still smoked with some splatter. Any ideas of what it may be or what else to check for? Would be appreciated.
