Battery Disconnect Question
IF - IF - IF... If he has 10 other backup batteries & a bed full of solar cells, it could take a year for the KAM to die. Who cares about IFs???
Within a few milliseconds of disconnecting the battery on a stock Ford (and most other brands), the KAM's capacitor is the ONLY voltage source available to the KAM, and turning on the headlights won't have any effect on it. Why is this so difficult to comprehend?
