valve cover bolt problem
sorry, i wasn't clear enough, i'm replacing the engine in my f150 and i'm trying to locate a new set of valve cover bolts. the old ones are shot so i need new ones to finish putting the new engine together.
I figured thats what you meant but I thought I'd let these guys have some fun first LOL.
The pin bolts are a N806356, (8MM hex) M6 x 1 x 73.76 pin stud.
The regular bolts are a, N806183 (8MM hex) M6 x 1 x 42.5 bolt.
Torque is 8-12 Nm. Also don't forget a dab of black RTV at the "T" joints just before cover installation.
Dealer, Auto salvage, or Auto parts may have them. Dealer for sure. Good luck

I have a bag full of bolts & hardware left over from stripping my CV's original engine. There's probably a full set in there. If you can't find them locally, e-mail me thru my SMN profile or my profile here.
