BG Products?

Ok I've been doing a search on this for an hour or so and couldn't find anything so I'm gonna ask. First off, what is it exactly? From what I understand it de-carbons your entire fuel system, right? Does anyone reccomend doing it? Is it worth the cost? Ever have problems after getting it done?

Here's the website.

I've not used enough to offer an opinion, but it is pricey.

Assuming you are talking BG44k. At one time it was a Stoddard solvent and polyetheramine. The formulation was great at removing carbon deposits. But about a year ago they changed the formulation and frankly, it isn't worth the money. You can get the same effects from Techron or Gumout with Regane and spend a tenth of the money.

What you are thinking of is a BG machine. It does the same thing as a Motorvac. It does a very nice job of cleaning out the intake and combustion system. "Fuel/Air Induction Service".

BG44K is just a gas additive.
